Case Study:
NASCAR Sponsor Finds Overseas Interest Via Optimization
Search Engine Optimization: Sports Collectibles, E-Commerce, Officially Licensed NCAA Football
The website described in the case study below has
been online since September 2005.
Case Study: Branding and SEO for Motivation Firm Using Perks of
NASCAR Sponsorship as Reward
Client: Newly created organization with goal of providing
small and mid-sized local businesses nationwide the benefits of racing sponsorship along with a unique
and highly desired reward to spur corporate staff performance or sales incentive
programs.
Marketing Goals: As a new company, several objectives needed to
be met: a corporate identity program to help establish the brand, an Internet
presence as an exciting and effective sales tool, and a source of qualified
leads.
Strategy: Productive Web Sites & Marketing provided a wide
variety of services to meet the multiple needs of the client. Several
consultative brainstorming sessions were held to determine the business
plan, company name and marketing strategies. A corporate logo and
identity package were designed, including the signage for use on the
sides of a NASCAR Nextel Cup race car during the championship-deciding
race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
In addition, a web site was developed incorporating search engine
optimization as a means of generating qualified leads. As a way of
demonstrating online the exhilarating and unmatched experience of
attending a NASCAR race weekend as a car sponsor with full access to the
garages and pits, an extensive photo gallery was included in the site documenting
the three-day racing experience.
Using state-of-the art digital equipment, Productive shot hundreds of backstage photos during the weekend of the 2005
Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, including intimate close-ups of
race winner Tony Stewart before and after his victory, Dale Earnhardt,
Jr., Jeff Gordon and dozens of other NASCAR personalities.
Results: The company's new web site went online in early September 2005.
Within three weeks the site was generating traffic through Yahoo and MSN for
important keyword phrases. By the end of the month Google was also delivering
qualified visitors to the site.
On October 1, the site began generating qualified leads, including
multiple inquiries from large overseas industrial companies interested
in entering the U.S. market. In its first three months online, the site
has received over 1000 visitors from over two dozen countries via high
search engine rankings.
Example Keyword Phrases: employee incentive ideas, company
morale, employee incentive plans, employee morale, improve staff morale, staff recognition ideas, employee productivity, staff morale programs, employee incentive contest,
racing employee event, and hundreds of others.
