Shopping Cart Designed Specifically Search Engine Optimization
DRIVE's CartSEO™: The Shopping Cart Designed for Search Optimization
Indianapolis, IN, May 15, 2006 –
DRIVE today released CartSEO™, a new internet shopping
cart designed to accommodate the need for a user-friendly, dynamic database-driven shopping cart for comprehensive
web-based inventory management control, while maintaining a search
engine optimization-friendly architecture for the e-commerce web site's online payment transaction
processing.

 |
CartSEO™ combines static HTML web page files with a
database- driven shopping cart and free credit card processing by
PayPal. |
The shopping cart can also be used for customer relationship management
and it is more search engine-friendly than most traditional dynamic
systems currently in place.
CartSEO™ can
be easily managed with Microsoft FrontPage and Microsoft Access, or
other database programs, such as MySQL and Microsoft's SQL Server.
CartSEO™ can also be used on any dedicated or shared server that supports ASP
technology - even on 3rd-party hosted sites.
CartSEO™ will
offer two transaction options: PayPal processing to eliminate monthly
fees or the traditional credit card processing method using a merchant
account and a gateway account with monthly service fees attached. Both
are tied directly to your business bank account for seamless deposit of
payments to your company.
“We have developed a method that improves upon the
process of a dynamically driven website,” said Ken Zweigel, president
and owner of DRIVE. “The primary difference
between CartSEO™ and most other shopping carts currently available is
that rather than being directed to an external server to complete an
online sale, all pages are created as static HTML pages using the most
current principles of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to replace
off-site dynamic pages, and reside in your web site, on your server,
rather than in a separate database. This eliminates the need for a
mirror site and third-party transaction processor.
“The other major benefit of our program is that
all pages are readable by the robotic “spiders” that collect data for
the major search engines to determine rankings in the free, organic
listings of their search results pages,” Mr. Zweigel explained. “Adding
the power of these fully-optimized pages can make the difference of
being ranked on the first or second results page vs. being buried
somewhere among the thousands of other listings.”
The new CartSEO™ application is designed for web developers who have a bit of
HTML knowledge, plus some FrontPage and spreadsheet or database
experience, but they don't need much of a background with any of those
to be able to use the system. The developers interface is logical and
linear, as opposed to many complicated and confusing shopping cart
programs on the market.
"In today's high-speed world of 'specialization,' business
professionals need to
focus their valuable time on what they do best; developing and running their business, and providing
service to their customers," Mr. Zweigel stated. "Using a skilled,
professional web site development team; with the research and analysis capabilities, and
experienced, 'SEO-Oriented' writing skills needed to create the relevant page content
the search engines look for, is invaluable to the success of an
e-commerce web site."
The beta site was launched in mid-January to thoroughly test the
software. After extensive testing and refinement, the first web site to
use CartSEO™ for online sales,
www.honeybeecrochet.com, went live today, May 15, 2006. Honey Bee Crochet offers
crochet patterns for the holidays and other occasions.
